I'm Tamara Luque Black, a Los Angeles-based academic advisor and a life-long lover of teaching and learning. I earned my Ph.D. in Sociology from UCLA in 2008 and possess over a decade of experience teaching, advising, and mentoring students.

I truly enjoy helping students meet their academic goals. It is fun and exhilarating to be a part of student success.
